Volunteer’s Blog: Helpless to Help
One of my favorite things about working with SCC is the various opportunities it has provided for me to reach out to the local community. On top of hosting basic education classes and vocational training, SCC also provides assistance to impoverished HIV patients in the neighboring communes.This week I was fortunate enough to have tasted both the lows and highs of fieldwork.
